If you're interested only in Eadlyn's selection, start with Book 4. She reads pretty slowly, so I turned the speed up and she still sounded great! OVERALL - Recommended for any female who watches The Bachelor/Bachelorette series on TV, but start with Book 1 and go through Book 3 to hear the story of Maxon and America. That said, I loved the ending and I'm ecstatic that my guy won in the end! PERFORMANCE - Brittany Pressley is great. Can't really put my finger on why, except to say that Eadlyn's story seems to be less of a romance and more about her personal growth from a spoiled brat into a queen. While I enjoyed this book, I must say that Eadlyn's story (Books 4 & 5) is nowhere near as good as the first three books. ![]() I love the dystopian society, the palace setting, the competition, the catfights between contestants and, of course, the romance. Vines is using his newfound fame to start what he calls The Reformation Project, an initiative to change the church from the grassroots up.
